We work to improve the nation’s tourist business by providing services that go above and beyond what is expected of us. Our first priorities are making sure that our clients are  happy and satisfied. Before reserving your travel with us, please carefully read our terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are in force as of the day you make your travel reservation.

Overview of Booking
For tours in Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan, please provide a photocopy of your passport and a 20% deposit of the total trip cost at the time of booking. If you decide to cancel your trip after booking, this 20% payment is non-refundable and will be charged as a cancellation fee.
When you get to Kathmandu, you may pay the remaining amount before starting your trip or trek.
Note: If you intend to go directly to Bhutan or Tibet for your tour, the remaining amount needs to be paid 20 days prior to your departure date.

PAYMENT MODE
You can make the payment either by wire transfer or via credit card.
Note: Bank service charges related to submitting a deposit are the responsibility of the client.

THROUGH CREDIT CARD:
Please open the link for the payment by credit card, complete the form with the necessary details, then proceed. It is Quick, Easy, and Secure: https://www.ecologicaltreks.com/payment
Note: For credit card payments, 3.5% extra will be charged to you for a credit card processing fee.

LAST-MINUTE BOOKING
We accept last-minute bookings for trips to Nepal, allowing you to book up to 3 days before the departure date. However, please note that last-minute bookings may not be possible for trips to Bhutan or Tibet.

POSTPONE THE TRIP
If you are unable to travel on the allocated days for any reason, please send us a written notice.
FREE TRIP POSTPONE: In the event of unforeseen circumstances after confirming your trip, if you’re unable to travel on the originally allocated dates, you have the option to postpone your trip to a later time. Feel free to choose any dates that are convenient and safe for you. We’re offering this trip postponement service to our clients without any additional charges.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event that you need to cancel your trip, please be aware that the 20% deposit you initially paid upon booking will be treated as the trip cancellation fee. This policy takes effect immediately after you confirm your booking with us.
Keep in mind that the 20% deposit is nonrefundable. However, if you’ve paid more than the trip deposit, we’ll deduct the 20% fee from that total, and the remaining balance will be refunded to you using the original payment method.

RISK AND LIABILITIES
We closely follow the guidelines established by the local tourist bureaus for our trips to China, Bhutan, and Nepal. It’s crucial to remember that unforeseen events do not absolve us of liability for modifications or cancellations. Changes in national laws, governmental prohibitions, natural catastrophes, unstable political environments, aircraft cancellations and delays, illness, accidents, and car breakdowns are a few examples of these situations. In these situations, the clients would be responsible for paying any additional expenses. We strongly advise travelers to get travel insurance as a precaution.

INCOMPLETE TOUR
Please be aware that, regardless of the customer’s rationale, we are unable to issue refunds in the case that a tour, trip, or expedition is not completed.

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
In the unfortunate event that your trip is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances—such as natural disasters, war, or unfavorable climatic conditions—we will make arrangements for an alternative trip. While it may not be the exact one you initially chose, rest assured that your investment won’t be wasted.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
A variety of things should be covered by this insurance, such as medical costs, personal accidents, emergency evacuations, trip cancellations, gear loss, natural disasters, and defense against theft or dam-age to luggage and personal belongings.

FLIGHT CANCELLATION/DELAY
Please be aware that flight delays and cancellations are common, especially in remote areas like the Everest region, Annapurna region, Dolpo, Simikot, and Jumla. To prepare for such situations, it’s advisable to carry extra funds for food and accommodations during delays. Ecological Treks will not cover any additional expenses incurred, so planning ahead is essential.

DURING THE TOUR
Please be aware that if you engage in any unlawful activities during your tour and are subsequently required to leave Nepal, Ecological Treks  will not be responsible for providing any refunds.

Please note that our terms and conditions apply exclusively to bookings made directly with us. If you choose to book your trip through agents or third parties, you will be subject to their respective terms and conditions
