Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trek is a circular trek around the Langtang region that combines the Langtang valley, Gosainkunda and Helambu trek. The main attractions of this trek are Langtang valley, Helambu valley, Holy Lakes of Gosainkunda, flora and fauna of Langtang National Park. Langtang valley is the valley of glacier surrounded by White Mountain and the stunning panorama of the mountain from this valley makes you think that you are in paradise. Gosainkunda located at the altitude of 4300m is the holiest side for Hindu pilgrims. In the peak of Gosainkunda there are about dozen lakes and main are Gosainkunda, Saraswatikunda, Nagkunda and Bhairabkunda. Thousands of Hindu pilgrims trek to this place to pay homage to the lord Shiva and Gauri especially during the early autumn season. So on the way you come in touch with the Hindu pilgrims. Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trek is an interesting trek that gives the trekkers to explore the diverse people, culture and nature. Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trek takes you across the holy lakes of Gosainkunda, into the thick forest of Rododendron and bamboo, into the Helambu valley and Langtang valley from where you witness the eye-catching view of snow capped mountain. This scenic beauty spellbinds the trekkers with an unforgettable heavenly pleasure. It also passes through the beautiful villages of different ethnic groups like Tamang, Sherpa, Gurung which gives you opportunity to know their lifestyle and culture.

Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trek stars off from Syafrubesi of Rasuwa district, village located at the bank of Bhotekoshi River. From Syafrubesi you trace along Langtang Khola and ascend the uphill passing through rhododendron and bamboo forest and different settlements. On the way you pass though the unspoiled Langtang National Park, grassy downs and meadows leading to Langtang Valley and Sherpa village of Kyanjing Gompa where you experience the spiritual lifestyle of Buddhist monks in the Monastery. Then you continue your adventure to Gosainkunda, Holy site of Hindus, where you can have the sunshine in the Lakes and White Mountains and trek to Helambu and from where you return to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and Trek preparation
Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi from Kathmandu (1,460m) 8/9 hours
Day 04: Trek Syabrubesi to Lhasa Hotel (2,470m) 6/7 hours
Day 05: Trek Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3430m) 6/7 hours
Day 06: Trekking Langtang to Kyanjin Gumba (3,870m) 3/4 hours
Day 07: Explore around Kyanjin Gumba
Day 08: Trek Kyanjin Gompa Back to Lama Hotel 6/7 hours
Day 09: Lama Hotel to Thulo Shyaphru Village (Langtang to Gosaikunda trek area) (2,250m) 6/7 hours walk
Day 10: Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa (3,330m) 4/5 hours
Day 11: Sing Gomba to Gosaikunda (4,380m) 6/7 hours
Day 12: Gosaikunda – Pass (4,610m) to Thadepati Bhanjyang (3,690m) 7/8 hours
Day 13: Thadepati to Kutumsang (2,470m) 6/7 hours
Day 14: Kutumsang to Chisapani (2,165m) 6/7 hours
Day 15: Chisapani to Sundarijal and drive back to Kathmandu (1,310m) 4/5 hours
Day 16: Final departure to own your destination

Cost Includes:

  • Nepal Visa fee (bring small denomination cash USD and two passport photographs )
  • Private vehicle (Kathmandu to Syabrubesi) (USD 200 each jeep)
  • Lunch and evening meals in Kathmandu (and also in the case of early return from the mountain than the scheduled itinerary)
  • Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, and early return from the mountain(due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary
