Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trek is a circular trek around the Langtang region that combines the Langtang valley, Gosainkunda and Helambu trek. The main attractions of this trek are Langtang valley, Helambu valley, Holy Lakes of Gosainkunda, flora and fauna of Langtang National Park. Langtang valley is the valley of glacier surrounded by White Mountain and the stunning panorama of the mountain from this valley makes you think that you are in paradise. Gosainkunda located at the altitude of 4300m is the holiest side for Hindu pilgrims. In the peak of Gosainkunda there are about dozen lakes and main are Gosainkunda, Saraswatikunda, Nagkunda and Bhairabkunda. Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trek stars off from Syafrubesi of Rasuwa district, village located at the bank of Bhotekoshi River. From Syafrubesi you trace along Langtang Khola and ascend the uphill passing through rhododendron and bamboo forest and different settlements. On the way you pass though the unspoiled Langtang National Park, grassy downs and meadows leading to Langtang Valley and Sherpa village of Kyanjing Gompa where you experience the spiritual lifestyle of Buddhist monks in the Monastery. Then you continue your adventure to Gosainkunda, Holy site of Hindus, where you can have the sunshine in the Lakes and White Mountains and trek to Helambu and from where you return to Kathmandu.
